I have had several former members ask that I delete their accounts so that their old member page and information no longer shows up in google searches. How can I do this? I have deleted their accounts as well as their content but when they google their name it still shows up in the search as having a profile on our network. Here is the most recent example, when I google this person's name their profile is at the very TOP of the search:
Arlene Arp's?Page - Radical Unschoolers Network
familyrun.ning.com/profile/ArleneArp?xg_source=activityShare
Arlene Arp's?Page on Radical Unschoolers Network.and even though clicking on it takes you to "page not found" it still lands on the network site which is upsetting to this person as it has hindered their business for being a "radical." They believe there should be a warning when people join that their information isn't private. I maintain that nothing you do on the internet is truly private, but that is my opinion.?
Is there some way to get past member's info to not show up in google searches...something I can do myself or something I can advise them to do??
Thanks for any help you can provide.
